Introducing The Playground Collective

Building community around playgrounds

*IN BETA*

Playgrounds help drive social mobility, enabling kids to meet their neighbors while getting exercise and fresh air. For parents and caregivers, playgrounds are an open space to connect and build local support networks.

The Playground Collective helps parents and caregivers using the same playground connect with each other, creating powerful communities around playgrounds to help keep playgrounds fun and safe for kids.

We're starting in Brooklyn, New York.

The Playground Collective is a volunteer-run project. Any donations are either redistributed to parents and caregivers who require financial assistance for cleaning supplies for their playground, or for outreach to parents, schools, daycares and other community organizations. We also intend to donate 10% of any donations we receive to Brooklyn substance misuse disorder support organizations, which do incredible work in the community where this project originated.

We are grateful for every contribution!
